CCS UNIBITS

Unified Academic Records and Learning System · Developed by Dr. Louie F. Agustin

CCS UNIBITS brings the 201 files, academic records, and learning tools of the College of Computer Studies into one system. It keeps the official records of students, faculty, and staff in one place, supports the college in faculty evaluation, classroom observation, renewal decisions, and performance reporting, and gives everyone self-assessments and educational games that make learning more engaging.

Purpose

Why the system exists

  • Replace paper 201 files with secure, searchable digital records.
  • Give students one place for their registration forms, certificates, activities, organizations, and concerns.
  • Give faculty a clear, fair basis for evaluation and renewal, with their own performance reports.
  • Give the Program Chair and the Dean reliable data, printable reports, and recommendations for decisions.
  • Make learning more engaging with self-assessments, educational games, and friendly competition.

Privacy and security

How records are protected

  • Every account signs in with its own username and a securely hashed password.
  • Each role sees only the pages and records it needs.
  • Uploaded files are opened only through the system, not by direct link.
  • Student evaluations are anonymous. Faculty never see individual answers or comments.
  • Timed tests and games are checked and scored on the server, so results cannot be edited in the browser.
  • The administrator can back up and restore the whole archive.
